  • Micro websites. These are the smallest websites with 3 to 7 pages. The main page explains who we are and what we can offer in terms of products or services. There are also contact pages and about us pages. Possibly a blog page, privacy policy, FAQ and support.

    Sometimes a slightly longer “American page” is made, where all this is only on one page. This type of website doesn’t get updated that often and once we’re sure everything is perfect with it we just let it do its job.

    For this type of website, 7 days are enough to create.

  • Blog page. This is a very popular way of communicating with your followers. There you can give them space to actively participate with you in creating topics and content. Here, the method of inserting text and images is very simple and it will not be a problem to learn it very quickly.

    A small blog can be created in a minimum of a week, and publishing new articles takes the most time.

  • Websites for sale. In our country they are known as online stores. They require the most time to make, but that again depends on your requirements. The simplest online shops need at least 3 weeks to create, provided that we have everything prepared in advance. More demanding websites require at least 6 weeks to 6 months to create. It may seem like a lot, but it is true. Here we recommend a CMS, and in our opinion it is best to use WordPress for this purpose. If you don’t know how to do this, we advise you to find someone with experience. Recommended in this case is the WooCommerce plugin.

 

2. Create your budget and choose a platform to work on

Once you have chosen which type of website would suit you best, then create your budget and choose a platform to work on.

To begin with, we will offer you 2 basic options:

Option number 1 – Creating a website with or without a developer.

This is the easiest option, especially if you want to spend less. This is the option with the lowest budget. It is up to you to propose how your future website should look like, but also to write the content, prepare photos and much more.

If you have a lot of work to do, then think carefully about this option. It’s worth it if you want to continue doing it and improve your business. Otherwise, think twice. And think carefully about which platform to choose. We wholeheartedly recommend WordPress.

– Option number 2- Leave the agency to create a website for you.

If you have a lot of work and you don’t know how to create a website, then this is the option for you. And here we suggest WordPress in combination with WooCommerce. In our opinion, this is the best CMS and it is very easy to install on any hosting.

It’s great if you want a multilingual website, and there are a lot of plugins that can help you. But if you want some advanced features, developer help will be necessary. Especially since the source code can be easily accessed, and we don’t advise it for someone who doesn’t have experience.

There are a large number of free and paid themes, so we suggest you look at them on the website www.themeforest.com.

It will be impossible not to find at least five of them that will suit you. There are already prepared pages for almost all branches of industry and trade. Before downloading, check the number of downloads and ratings.

3. Register the website domain.

For those who don’t know, a domain is practically the address of your website. That address is called URL (Uniform Resource Locator) for short. Or to put it even more simply, if the website is a house, the domain would be its address. The Internet itself is actually a large network of connected computers.

To ensure networking, each computer has its own IP address. It would be really hard to remember so many numbers for the sites you want to visit, that’s why such domains are used for easier navigation.

Before registering the domain itself, you must check whether the domain name you have imagined is available. You can do that search in several places. If it is for the territory of Serbia, check on the website domen.rs. If your idea is to perform outside the borders of Serbia, you can check on the website domainchecker.com.

Think about the market you will be operating in, and choose an extension for your domain accordingly.

If you do business in only one country, use the domestic extension (in Serbia, use the .rs extension), and in any other case, you can use the .com extension.

When you want to register the domain of your website, it will be easiest for you with the company that will provide you with hosting services (you can also check the availability of the domain there). Domain rent is paid on an annual basis and currently costs from 500 to 2,100 dinars.

Please note that this amount may vary slightly depending on the company.

Make sure your domain doesn’t have too many letters and make it easy to remember.

If you can, make it sound like a brand so that you can promote yourself more easily on the Internet in the future.

4. Think about the content of your website and create a good site structure

This is a very important part. Here, we always start with the website structure first. We make sure that you can get to any category or product in a maximum of three clicks.

Improvisation is out of the question here!

You should do a good analysis and put on paper everything you will need. Do not rush this step because the biggest mistakes are made right here. And later they are difficult to correct. Design the categories well and if you are not sure, see how the competition has solved it.

We know this is not the right way, but it can solve your problems when you think it can’t go any further.

For the website structure, first write everything that is most important to you. Then organize it all as simply as possible.

Check out other websites to get some more ideas. When you’re done, ask your friends what they think and you’ll get some additional ideas from a different angle.

Take care of keywords, titles and other important elements. All this is very important for a good position.

And let’s not forget the important thing, which is the content!

You must not skimp on this. Make sure that your least important page has at least 300 words. Photos and infographics are very important, but what sells is the written word. If you don’t believe it, look at the best sites with strong competition and you’ll see what we’re talking about.

Without a well-optimized text, there is simply no success on Google.

You know that the average of good pages is about 2,000 words per page. That’s not much, but if you’re an expert and have the will, you’ll see that this isn’t too much!

5. Choose a theme for creating a website that suits you

As we mentioned, we would always advise you to choose a CMS. In this case it would definitely be WordPress.

There are many themes for it that can be free or premium (they are paid). There are several ways and places, but our suggestion is to look at the offer at www.themeforest.com. Navigation is very easy there and you can easily find a topic that will suit you.

Our favorites are Divi, Elementor and Astra. But there are hundreds of themes that are equally good, it just depends on your needs.

To know that each page can be changed, so a unique design can be created. If you want something special that’s out of the ordinary, you’ll need to hire a developer. But there are so many solutions that you probably won’t need this.

This is mainly for companies that have special requirements and large budgets. Whatever you decide, the next step involves making some design decisions.

Although it does not seem complicated, creating visuals for a website is not an easy task.

In our opinion, there are many more examples of bad design.

Creating websites on the WordPress platform may seem intimidating, but in reality it is not. Like other agencies, we are happy to use it.

If you are not sure, always use light colors for the background. Use matching colors and use the Color Wheel to help.

Keep the design clean and simple, and keep the font proven (for example, Helvetica) and from the sans-serif font group. One or two fonts are quite enough for each website.

And take care that your pages do not look confused, but should resemble each other.

Design is important, but content is even more important. And to know that it is always easier, faster and cheaper to change the design than the texts on the website.

7. Finally, publish and promote your new website

Before you publish a website, review it once more. It always happens that some mistake slips through. Even if that happens, don’t worry because everything can be corrected along the way. Because when the website becomes active, it can still be updated and changed.

It is important that your content is optimized and relevant and that you supplement it. If, for example, you are in the catering business and you change the menu, it is important that this change is published on your website.

Next is SEO optimization. In order to progress to the first page of Google you will need to optimize all the pages of the website. One part of this can be done when the site development is started, but site development does not imply advanced SEO optimization.

To know that this requires a lot of time and work, but it is always worth it. We’d even say it’s essential if you want to rank on the first page of Google.

Another important thing is the location. When setting up the campaign, you will have to choose the geographical area where your advertisement will be displayed. Depending on your job, it can be a city, state or region in our case.

It depends on the products or services you provide and can deliver. If you have a gym on Voždovac in Belgrade, the territory of Belgrade should be your limit. Anything outside of it is a waste of budget.

You know that Google also takes care of this, so it will only display relevant results for the query that was set.

Google Ads remarketing and bidding!

This is a very powerful weapon that you must use. The key is to bombard users who have already been to your website with your ad. This is achieved with tracking cookies that register a user who has been on your website but has not yet made any conversion.

Thanks to this method, your ads will follow them all over the Internet. Remarketing is very effective, but the user needs to see your ad several times in order to eventually become a customer. If you’ve decided to advertise on the web, take remarketing into serious consideration.

Once you’ve set up and configured all of your campaigns, it’s time to bid. You need to carefully analyze the keywords and what are the minimum and maximum prices for them that your competition has set. Based on that, you create a strategy that will depend on your goals and budget.

This is the part where you have to be very careful.

There are two options for bidding:

  • Automatic bidding. Here Google practically runs the whole business and you don’t have to worry about anything, except for the budget. And that’s the only thing we would mention in this option. Because Google will spend your budget much faster than in manual bidding.
  • Manual bidding. This is an option that we always use for our clients. It is much more difficult to work and requires a lot of time and analysis, but it pays off many times over. Try both options and you’ll understand how much you can save in manual bidding.

 

How to use Google Ads advertising?

We’re going to be very brief here, so let’s get started:

1. Open your Google Ads account. In the upper right corner, click “Start now” and sign up.

2. Enter your company name and your website. This is the next page, right after login.

3. Choose an advertising objective. Here you have four options: Get more visits, get more YouTube views, get more calls and get more website sales.

4. Create your ad. This is the next step. It requires creativity and well thought out actions. You have a lot of articles on this that will help you. It is important to write good text that will be noticed and clicked on.

5. Choose keywords. On this page you will choose keywords that will trigger your ads. If you’re not sure, Google will give you suggestions. If you have no experience with them, feel free to choose what Google suggested.

6. Set the location of your ad. There you will choose which sites or locations your campaign or ad will be displayed on.

7. Determine your budget. Here you can accept the amount suggested by Google or you can manually enter the amount you are willing to spend on Google advertising.

8. Confirm payment. Here you provide the data that Google needs to download the funds you spent in the campaign. Funds are withdrawn once a month or when you reach a certain limit.

That’s it, you’ve created your Google campaign. But this is the shortest possible version.

In real life it takes much longer, especially if you use some advanced methods.

We would start first with:
